SCIENCE EXPO!

What i did for my science expo was a project called sour power, I did it with my friend Kiera. How we found this project is we googled food science and lemon battery popped up. My project was to see if a lemon  can power up a LED light bulb. When we did the experiment at fist the LED didnt light up It was very stressful but then we tried again and it WORKED!!! On the day of the expo the juge came and our light didnt light up but.. Luckily we took a video of it lighting up so then we showed her that it does work. The struggles we had was when the light broke during the expo. Our poster was really pretty , we did make lots of spelling errors but we fixed them. I really enjoyed the expo and i had a wonderful partner with me. Science expo was lots of fun.

Doughnut Man

The stop motion project is a project where you take lots of photos of a figure doing actions. we are filming a superhero/super villan fighting or wrecking the town. Our character is Doughnut Man. We chose him because we thought he will be cute and creative, and he could have very cool super powers. If i could change something about our project I would make Doughnut Man's clay body more smooth. The highlight of this project was definitly be working with my partner Emma because she made it lots of fun and we laughed  alot. I had no frustrations during this project. i really enjoyed this project.

Camp Rocklands

On the 9th of March the Grade 6s went to Rocklands for camp. I shared a cabin with Kira G, Tana, Alessia ,Danielle Z,Thalia and Kiera S. In the bus I sat next to Kira-Ana and Kiera O,it was quiet a long ride but it was lots of fun. We played the game MASHI in the bus.

Later on we arrived at Rocklands and we saw our cabins and the we played many different games. We  were put into groups and my groups name was the goldfish and our walkry was really long but funny.
After dinner we played on the drums and the went to the climbing wall after i climbed i played soccer with Tatum, Tana, Kiera, Jordan, Alessia and Kira. Then we all went to bed.

The next morning we did archery, human fuse ball and a really cool obstacle  coarse. My favorite things were human fuse ball ,archery and septic tank. Septic tank was part of the obstacle coarse were you swing across the mud on a rope. My challenges were the spider wed, turning the carpet around and sinking ship. I learnt to always have respect,responsibility,teamwork and to listen to your team.

I really enjoyed camp and cant wait to go on another one.

GOALS

MY GOALS OF 2016

ITS IMPORTANT TO SET GOALS SO THAT YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO WORK TOWARDS FOR THE YEAR.
A SMARRT GOAL IS A GOAL THAT IS SPECIFIC AND NOT SILLY.
S= specific
M= measurable
A= attainable
R= reviewable
R= realistic
T= timely
AN EXAMPLE OF A SMART GOAL IS ''I WANT TO SCORE 10 GOALS IN HOCKEY THIS YEAR''
AN EXAMPLE OF A SILLY GOAL IS ''I WANT TO SCORE SOME GOALS''
TWO OF MY GOALS FOR 2016 IS TO GET OVER 80% AND GET AN ACADEMIC AWARD AND TO GET INTO THE HOCKEY TEAM AND GO ON HOCKEY TOUR.
